90th Year Reunion

Friday 28th July 2006

A casual get together was held at the Darnall Country Club. There was an incredible turnout of past pupils, mostly the younger pupils. They all enjoyed catching up with their peers that they had not seen since school as well as dancing the night away, with DJ's Dylan Smit and David Read.

Saturday 29th July 2006

On Saturday, a hockey match was played at the Darnall Mill Field whereby Tekwane challenged Nkwazi. It was nail biting to the end with Tekwane winning with a golden goal in extra, extra, extra time...! After which back at the school the new Resource Centre placque was unveiled by Noel de St. Pern (our oldest pupil - 1931). Past pupils and teachers browsed throught the school and the grade 6 classroom was set up with memorabilia and a slide show. The lunch was a big success with about 130 people at tables under the awning. We were entertained by the choir and also with guest speakers that consisted of past pupils, ex-teachers, ex-headmistress and ex-governing body member.

Sunday 30th July 2006
